North West Group 2007-2008

·         Description of projects: Network Monitoring System, basic IT Operation Procedures for efficient operation of the company IT infrastructure, Windows Service Update Server.

·         My role: Implemented Network Monitoring System (Cacti, Network Weather Map based on RRDTool, MySQL, PHP and IIS) that allowed monitoring LAN and computer equipment (such as core switches, routers, storage devices (NAS), servers, workstations, UPS’s, etc). The system pulled SNMP data from the devices, kept them in a database, built and displayed different kinds of graphs; displayed network utilization - Network Weather Map almost in real time. Implemented WSUS, Group Policies and basic IT Operation Procedure.

·         Results: Successful preparation and implementation of the projects.

Pure Energy Services 2005-2006

·         Description of the projects: Technology Plan (Document) and Standard Operation Procedures for Remote Offices for efficient operation of the company IT infrastructure.

·         My role: Created Technology Infrastructure Plan (Network Topology, VPN Topology, Servers’ roles, Time Synchronization schema, Antivirus Strategy and Topology, UPS Hardware and Software Solution, Windows Update Strategy, Group Policies and Security, etc). Created Standard Operation Procedure for Remote offices; including procedure to install and support Terminal and Remote Access Servers and Services, Domain controllers, DNS, File Shearing, DHCP, Backup, and Remote Control for Clients, etc. Migrated WSUS and ScriptLogic Desktop Authority from MSDB to MS SQL Server.

·         Results: Successful preparation and implementation of the projects.

SAIT, Technology Plan for MCC Employment Development 2005 – 2005 

·         Description of projects: Technology Plan for efficient operation of the company IT infrastructure.

·          My (group) role: Created company Technology Infrastructure Plan (Project Objectives, Description the organization; IT Infrastructure Assessment: IT Management, Site Logistic, Migration Procedures, Considerations; IT Infrastructure Security: Security for computers, Securing Data, Securing operating systems, Selecting secure passwords; Network and Physical Security: Access Control, Power and Electricity, Climate and Environment, Smoke and Fire, Water, Food and Drinks, Vibrations, Backup, Security Policies and procedures; Risk Management Plan; Data Management Plan: Data acquisition, Integration, Storage Area Network (SAN), Data recovery Plan, Data Security, Data Storage, Warehousing; Disaster Recovery Plan: Critical Business Processes, Business Disruption, Target recovery timescales, Findings and Conclusion, : Impact analysis, Strategy Definition, Plan Development, Plan Draft, Testing and Maintenance.

·          Results: Successful completion of the projects.

Total e-Support Solution project for LiveRepair.com, Inc  2001 – 2002 

·         Description of projects: Creation and implementation of 24x7 Technical Help Desk for home and corporate users via Internet.

·         My role: Managed a group of 6 people. Developed Help Desk Policy, Procedures and Strategy for solving computer related problem. Tested diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and repairing software and hardware. Modelled and explained software errors and gave recommendations on their elimination. Tested LiveRepair.com Web site for errors and bugs. Developed and organized study classes for staff.

·         Results: Successful preparation and implementation of the Web site and Help Desk technology for the company. (www.liverepair.com)

Y2K project for Coca-Cola Ukraine  1999 – 1999

·         Description of projects: Preparation of the company for 2000.

·         My role: Audited computer and network systems within the company. Created plan for implementation of the necessary system changes and testing. Updated, changed, replaced and retired application programs. Inventoried, assessed, planed implementation of new software and hardware. Identified hardware, software, processes or devices which used or processing date information.

·         Results: Successful preparation of the company for 2000 year.

LAN/WAN design, software solutions implementation, structured cable systems, project documentation, servers specifications compilation and network equipment deployment     1995 – 1997

·         Description of projects: LAN/WAN design, software solutions implementation, structured cable systems, project documentation, servers specifications compilation and network equipment deployment in the following organisations: British American Tobacco, PMMS BV Kiev Inco, INFOTEL (Ukrtelekom),  CARGIL Enterprises, UkrGazBank, Farmer bank of Ukraine, VABANK, Indian Embassy, Turkish Airlines, Salans Hertzfeld & Heilbronn, Altheimer & Gray, Western NIS Enterprise Found, SC Johnson, AVAL bank and its branches, UkrAkadem Bank, JV Denmark - Ukraine, NPK Bank, UkrGazProm Bank, Florian Italy, Consulting Ukraine.

·         My role: Project Engineering: provided technical consulting; controlled network projects on a different stages, planned and deployed operating systems, applications, network and system software; trained users.

·         Results: Successful completion of the projects.

Project of Information systems for Information Bureauof the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyiv region 1993 – 1995

·         Description of projects: Design and implementation of information systems for registration of weapons, motor vehicles, and persons who convicted crimes.

·         My role: Defined needs for the database development, performed system analysis of incoming data, designed databases and software, participated in development, testing, implementation and maintenance of software.

·         Results: Information systems were created and on functioning in 32 areas of Kiev region.
